The next day, George was strolling around Trafalgar Square when he saw Wendy sitting by one of the fountains. The teenage fan was on the verge of crying again as she was still recovering from what happened yesterday. She had also hoped that her favourite Beatle would come back and make up for it.
As a few tears streamed down, she felt George wrap his arms around her and dry them with his free hand. "It's all right, love," he soothed. "Don't cry. I'm here." "G-Georgie?" Wendy responded, then looked up and perked almost immediately at the sight of his handsome face. She said, "Oh, Georgie! I am so happy to see you again! Did you break up with that horrible woman?" George replied, "Well, it's a bit of a long story, but allow me to explain." He then told her about everything which took place, including how the fox rescued him and the showdown he and his bandmates had that led to Doria Florahyde's demise.
"So in conclusion, the witch brought it all upon herself." George finished. "Gosh. Thank heavens you're fine, and now I know why she acted in such a way. Good riddance to her!" Wendy replied. "Indeed! Anyways, would you like us to spend this day together?" George said. "Most definitely! I'd love that very much." Wendy said. "Okay, let's go!" George exclaimed.
The two had a fabulous time as they explored the nearby areas and ate some soft ice cream. They even went go-kart racing at one of the city's indoor tracks! And through it all, George would smile sweetly at Wendy, to which she'd smile back in return.
Before parting ways for the night, they went to the park across Big Ben and relaxed on the grass. George then gave Wendy a small kiss on her cheek. "I love you. Thanks for being a loyal fan. Don't ever change." he said. "I love you, too, Georgie. And thank you for everything." she replied. They shared another hug afterwards.
